Sweet Jubilee will be performing during a night of live music and dance at the Albuquerque Museum as part of an extension of the Art Deco Japan exhibit. Here’s what the museum says about the event:

Explore the Jazz Age in conjunction with the exhibition, Deco Japan: Shaping Art and Culture, 1920-1945. Enjoy an evening of big band dance and music. Watch dancing demonstrations presented by local dancers, or hop on the dance floor to learn some basic moves. Dress in your favorite fashion from the Jazz Age.

We’ve created choreography and costumes especially for the “Art Deco Japan” theme – don’t miss it! For more info on the exhibit: http://albuquerquemuseum.org/art-history/upcoming-exhibitions?/exhibition/24

UPDATE: Read the article about the exhibit that appeared in the Sunday Feb. 3, 2013 edition of the Albuquerque Journal.
