We are very excited by what the new year holds for our dance troupe. But first, let’s take a look back at 2013.
We had 13 performance events, most with us performing multiple routines. We danced on grass, asphalt, and some nice wood floors. Our team grew and shrunk over the year. We celebrated one of our members buying her first house and another member expecting her first child! We sewed for countless hours. We went blind gluing rhinestones on shoes and costumes. We danced with feathers and birds in our hair. We even learned how to tap dance! Our team made it through our share of injuries, as any dance team would. We opened our Etsy store (SweetJubileeGirls) in November to be a fundraiser for our team. And lastly we filmed our Christmas/Holiday routine to share with everyone.
It was a very good year for us. We are very grateful for all the love and support from our local dance community and family and friends. We have grand plans for this new year. While we don’t want to give you any spoilers, we can say to keep checking back for a vintage photo post to appear occasionally on here. Here’s to 2014 and all the wonderful things ahead!
